Problems and Solutions

Despite all our efforts, you may encounter problems with our editor. Here is what you can do if this happens.

In case of network interruption

In case of a browser crash, or a wrong manipulation leading to the closure of the tab, your story being written should be properly saved in the cache of your browser.

To recover your changes, simply reopen the editor from the same browser. But be careful, we only save one story in cache, and if you open the editor with another story, the changes of the first one will be lost!

Parallel editing

If you modify your story on multiple computers at the same time, you will get this kind of message :

Conflict in saving.

This happens when the editor tries to save changes on a story whose version on the server is more recent.

You can:

  • Either Reload the page and recover the latest version saved on the server.
  • Or Force save and overwrite the server version with the editor version.

In case of a crash

It may be that you have found a bug in the editor displaying this screen:

Editor crash :(

In this case, first try to reload the page. If this does not solve the problem, you will need to delete the story in the cache of your browser. To do this, simply open another story in the editor, then return to the one causing problems.

And if the bug persists, please report it to us, either via the contact form, or via GitHub.
