Themes
Example of different themes.
The themes of your story help immerse your readers in the atmosphere of your narrative.
Some default themes are available in the editor, but we advise against using them as is. Choose one that you like, and customize it. This way, your story becomes unique.
The theme editor allows you to modify the font, choose the colors, specify the type of animations, and add sound.
You can add up to 20 themes, which allows you to change the atmosphere throughout the story. To create a new theme, you can select one you already have; its parameters will be copied.

The interface of the Themes tool is divided into two areas:
- on the left are all the available options
- on the right, a dummy story is presented as a preview: changes are reflected live on this story.

It is also possible to export/import themes. This allows you, for example, to keep a theme from one story to another!
Usage
If you only have one theme, it will be applied directly to each of your sequences.
If you have created several, then from the Sequences tool, you can decide to change the theme as you see fit.
Changing theme on a sequence.
You will also be able to change the theme on each of your choice buttons only, by clicking on .
Adding a theme on a choice.
Choice with specific theme.
Just like with sound loops, once a theme is applied to a sequence, it will remain on subsequent sequences until it is changed.
So, it is not necessary (and even useless) to apply the same theme to all sequences.
However, be aware that the sequence previewer cannot know the theme that will be applied during the game: if you are on a sequence with a theme change, it will be visible, otherwise, it will be the default theme.
