Object Choice Sequences
To use this feature on a story created in normal mode, you will need to switch to expert mode. You can do this from the Settings > Options menu.
Definition
Object choice sequences allow you to let your players choose an object.
You can create an object choice sequence by clicking the With Object Choices button in the sequences menu.
On the reader's side, it will look like this:
Sequence with object selection — compact or expanded

Editing an object choice sequence
Limit by tags
This option allows you to select tags from those added to objects to limit the list of objects offered.
Once you have specified at least one tag, an additional option will invite you to choose if the displayed objects must contain:
- All tags
- At least one tag
- None of the tags
This gives you some flexibility on the objects that will be proposed in the sequence!
Take into account
This option allows you to specify whether the displayed objects should be those that are in the inventory, or those that are not in the inventory. Depending on this option, the selected object can be added to (or removed from) the inventory. You can also decide that it only applies to objects specifically added as choices (or even the reverse).
Redirections
If there are no objects to display, you will need to redirect the players to a dedicated sequence (marked with the No object option). In this case, the object choice sequence won't even be displayed to the reader. Additionally, you will be required to specify a default next sequence regardless of the selected object (via the Next sequence option).
Specific choices
Based on the same functionality as code sequences, you will have the opportunity to specify the next sequence based on the selected object.
