The Different Types of Sequences
Definition
Sequences can be of different types:
- simple sequences: which have a single button
- choice sequences: which have multiple buttons
- code sequences: which prompt the player to enter a code
- object choice sequences: which prompt the player to choose an object (expert mode)
- final sequences: which mark the end of the story
When a sequence is created, it does not yet have a type, and the following menu is displayed:
Changing the Type of a Sequence
It is also possible to change the type of a sequence.
Modification of the Type
When changing a simple sequence to a choice sequence, actions and/or conditions that might be present will be applied to the first choice of the sequence. Conversely, when changing a choice sequence to a simple sequence, actions and/or conditions that might be present on the first choice (and only the first one), will be applied to the sequence.
If you change a choice sequence, a confirmation popup will appear because, in this specific case, the texts of your choices will be lost.

📄️ Choice Sequences
The button With Choices opens a modal window with a text editor allowing you to enter the text displayed in the choice button. When this window is validated, a choice is added to the sequence. It is displayed as follows:
📄️ Sequences with codes
The button With codes allows you to create a special sequence displaying a numeric or alphabetic keyboard.
📄️ Object Choice Sequences
To use this feature on a story created in normal mode, you will need to switch to expert mode. You can do this from the Settings > Options menu.
📄️ Final Sequences
The Final Sequence button marks the sequence as the end of the story. When this type is enabled (not available on the first sequence), an additional option allows you to choose whether this ending is happy or tragic:
